Terms of Service (Draft)

Agreement

By using TeeChat clients, chat.teechat.ai, api.teechat.ai, or related services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The TeeChat application is proprietary software licensed by Lightec AI. OPE and the inference engine are open source under separate licenses on GitHub.

Service description

TeeChat provides AI chat software. Hosted features require an account and are subject to availability, fair-use limits, and maintenance.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Preview channels (web, beta builds) may change or break without notice.

Acceptable use

You must not abuse the API, attempt to bypass attestation or encryption controls, attack our infrastructure, or use the service for unlawful content or activity.

We may suspend accounts that threaten security or other users.

No retention of chat content on servers

Our hosted stack is designed so that we do not keep copies of your chat message content on teechat.ai systems. Operational data (auth, metering, security) is separate from conversation archives.

Disclaimer

AI outputs may be inaccurate. You are responsible for decisions you make based on model responses. The service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law.
